I'm very excited to announce my first collaborative project with the public, in partnership with Nature Canada, the oldest national nature conservation charity in Canada.  For nearly 80 years, it has helped protect over 63 million acres of parks and wildlife areas in Canada and countless species.

Today, Nature Canada represents a network of over 90,000 members and supporters and more than 750 nature organizations.   I am thrilled to partner with them and support the incredible conservancy work they do to protect our national natural heritage.

From your backyard to the backcountry, Fogo to Fernie, send me your snapshots that capture the lands, waters and skies we all love and enjoy.  Please do not include photos with buildings, machines, cars or people.  (Exceptions: country barns, huts, tipis, dinghies, canoes, yurts, lighthouses, etc.)

Selected photos will be the inspiration for 200 new oil paintings.  All works will be painted on 8 x 10" boards with a limited edition of archival giclee prints.

If your photo is selected to become a painting, you will be given the first print in the edition!  Send them to me at

Due to Covid restraints, the project will likely culminate in an exhibition, when all works and prints will be available for sale and a large portion of proceeds will go to this worthy organization, Nature Canada.
